On March 12, 2026, Gotham Ducati and Ducati New York brought NYC Ducatisti together for a first look at the two most talked-about machines out of Borgo Panigale this year: the 2026 Ducati Panigale V4 R and the 2026 Ducati Diavel V4 RS, on display together at the brand's flagship Manhattan showroom on Avenue of the Americas.
It was a rare chance to stand beside both numbered limited editions before they headed into private collections. The 2026 Panigale V4 R drew a crowd as the MotoGP-derived homologation special behind Ducati's WorldSBK dominance — its 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine putting down 208.4 horsepower at 13,250 rpm in US trim, climbing to as much as 239 hp with the racing exhaust and Ducati Corse oil, paired with larger biplane wings drawn straight from Ducati's racing program and a Ducati Racing Gearbox with patented neutral lockout. Holding down the muscle-roadster side of the room was the 2026 Ducati Diavel V4 RS. Its 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 makes 182 horsepower and launches 0–60 mph in just 2.43 seconds — the fastest-accelerating production Ducati to date. Carbon fiber bodywork and a lithium-ion battery trim 6.6 pounds off the standard Diavel V4, and, like the Panigale, it arrives as a numbered edition with its own aluminum plaque and RS branding. Gotham Ducati — New York City's official Desmo Owners Club, factory-backed by Borgo Panigale — hosted the evening.
