Once a year, the world's motorcyclists trade their leathers for tweed. The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is the rare day when looking sharp is the whole point — and on May 17, the Gotham Ducati DOC family suited up and joined riders across the globe for it.
DGR isn't just a good-looking parade. Since 2012 it's grown into the world's largest motorcycle charity event, raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health in partnership with Movember. 2026 marked 15 years of the ride, with 100% of donations going straight to men's health initiatives. For a community that spends most of the season chasing apexes, it's a chance to put the bikes to work for something that reaches well beyond the road. quadlockcase + 2
Gotham's route ran the length of the city's character: stepping off in Long Island City, Queens, and finishing down at South Street Seaport in Lower Manhattan, with the East River and the Brooklyn Bridge as the backdrop. Ducatisti in their finest — classic lines, Scramblers, and a level of waxed-mustache commitment you don't see on a normal Sunday run — made for a sight as good for the cause as it was for the camera. Different dress code, same family.
Riding dapper, doing good, and reminding each other that men's health is worth talking about out loud. That's a Sunday well spent. Thanks to everyone who suited up, donated, and rode.
This is a charity ride supporting men's physical and mental health — if any of it hits close to home, it's always worth reaching out to someone you trust or a professional for support.
